Master Identity Loop
The self-reinforcing cycle in which identity drives behaviour, behaviour becomes evidence, and evidence strengthens identity.
The Master Identity Loop explains why both good and bad habits are so stable: each behaviour feeds back as proof of the identity that produced it, making the next repetition easier.
The most effective place to intervene in the loop is at the evidence stage — deliberately generating small actions the loop reads as proof of a new identity, rather than fighting the behaviour directly.
