The First Thirty Days of a New Identity
The early window is where most change dies. Here's what to expect and how to hold the line.

Why the beginning is fragile
At the start of a new identity, the loop has almost no evidence to draw on. The old self-image still has years of proof; the new one has days. This asymmetry is why the early window feels like pushing uphill — and why so many people quit right before it gets easier.
Holding the line
The task in the first month is not intensity but presence: keep casting small votes, keep feeding the loop evidence, and treat the resistance as expected rather than disqualifying. Once the evidence base thickens, the identity starts holding itself.
